I think you need to rent Koda out as a dog washer. :doberman:

That is Amazing!!! I Love it! :doberman: Just goes to show you the difference in dogs that get very little attention and very lonely to dogs that are not lonely. I really couldnt be happier with you and your husband taking him in as much as it kills me. Great job on the videos... it just makes it that much easier to know he is in a happy fun loving home. hugs & kisses to the handsome boy!!

I just love following this thread....it's such a nice story :doberman:

I simply love the grooming video! You can see Kilo just laying there loving it. :doberman: My fuzzy yellow cat loves licking Sophia's ears, but she barely tolerates it.

I also know what you mean about nothing like a Dobe in the house. You look in their eyes, and there is someone home, an intelligence there unlike other dog breeds I have had, although Lily is pretty close. I swear Brandy could actually understand English. :sorcerer:

Well more play time today and alot of muddy feet...............Prince hated mud/rain/water/getting dirty........this guy doesn't seem to mind it too much. :doberman:

He is doing the silliest thing. He will bow down with his front half on the ground and his butt in the air playing with Koda. Then he will drag himself across the floor like that...I will have to take a video, I have never seen a dog play like that before its very funny to watch. I am hoping this weekend maybe even Friday I can take him to Camp Bow Wow to be evaluated for day care. I want to keep this guy as fit and healthy as possible!

We are thinking of changing his name but not alot of ideas yet. Levi, Storm and Cyrus are the front runners so far.

Kilo, don't feel alone with him being silly. Hunter
would do the very same thing. He would gently
paw the carpet lay his head sideways then the
front of himself and slide across the floor like a
goof. I would tell him how goofy his was then
there would go that nub of his 80 miles an hour.
He was a total COMIC and a lover of everything.
Not a mean bone in his body just one big GOOF,
he made me laugh everyday. :doberman: Sorry I
could talk about him all day Kilo brought back
some very sweet memories. :sorcerer:

I am glad Kilo is working out for you. :flower:

When Natalie first told me the dog's name was Kilo, we both thought it wasn't the best, but she wasn't sure she could get him to accept the change. I thought of a name that was close, so maybe he would respond-- Keno. I always wondered if a drug dealer named him originally. :doberman:

That was my first thought, but I didn't want to say anything. :doberman:
I'm glad he's adapting so well.
I like the name Cyrus too. Funny we were talking about renaming our one remaining dobe at the Shelter "Cyrus".

Looks like we may have decided on "Dash"...he is quick as lightning and dashingly handsome... :doberman:

I also thought that maybe he was named by a drug dealer...when I hear Kilo, I think of cocaine - yikes!

Dash is good -- short, masculine, won't sound goofy when you are yelling for the dog all over the neighborhood (that's always another consideration!).

I've been out of town, and am catching up on what's going on. I was wondering about Kilo, and if you had picked him up. Looks like a match made in Heaven! Congratulations, Diane!

This made me laugh, as it reminded me of a name I wanted to use for one of my dogs. I thought Arcadia was very pretty, but realized it would be shortened on many occassions. I could picture myself running around yelling "Arc, Arc, Arc" and the neighbors wondering if a seal had escaped from the zoo.

Kilo (now officially Dash) is doing great. He is a little stubborn at times but is falling into the routine very quickly. Koda and him are starting to play regularly and Dash is getting along just fine with the cat and the neighbor fence dogs. We take him for walks almost every day and he gets plenty of run time in the yard. He is extremely vibrant and active for a 7 year old....overall a really great dog.

Here are some videos of the past week - ENJOY!
