It is with great sadness that we had to say goodbye to our boy Clyde. We adopted Clyde (originally named Sawyer) in July 2004 at the age of ~18 mos. Unfortunately, Clyde was diagnosed with two forms of cancer (Lymphoma and Hystiosarcoma) - very rare to have 2 at the same time they tell me - and also advanced degenerative arthritis. We tried Chemo to save Clyde but the cancer was too much and we had to say goodbye yesterday (Tuesday). We miss him greatly but cherish the happy memories we had with him. We love you Clyder and miss you buddy!

I'm so sorry to read this. Our pets truly do become part of out family & it's so hard to say good-bye. Clyde was obviously much-loved. Take comfort knowing that you gave him a full life & that you did all you could to extend it. I pray your memories will soon be happy ones. :Rose:

I am so so sorry, they truly are our children, members of
our family. The hardest thing we have to do is let them
go but we have to for them and they take a part of us
with them, I am sorry. My heart breaks for you.

He really will be with you.....ALWAYS and FOREVER nothing can
or will ever change that. He is locked in your heart....no keys..
no opening that lock....ever.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. It sounds like Clyde was much-loved and had a wonderful life with you. We understand the pain you are going through. Letting them go when we must is the hardest thing about loving dogs.

So very sorry to hear of your loss. I understand the hardness of it all. May you heal quickly and be comforted in the knowledge that he is no longer suffering. Your words tell the story of the love that you had for him.

*Bark*  *Bark*  *Bark*

Peanut, you barked at your Dad??

It's me, Peanut, don't you recognize me?

*bark?*

What in the world are you doing coming in the back door?  I don't know if I have ever seen you come in the back door.  I am usually with you.  How did you get to the store without me?  How did you get out of the house unnoticed?  What is going on here?????  Are we off our schedule?????    AAAAAAAAAaaaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!??????

*oof*

I protest.

  Whadja bring me?

Look I found a 19 squeaker toy for 75% off!

*squeak* *squeak* *squeak*

Peanut's Ponderings:  *squeak*  is music to my ears, nineteen "squeaks" will be music to theirs.
