I have waited several days to post this because I just didn't know what to say. We lost Belle last week. She was Juliet when she was at SCD. We had her for 9 years which just doesn't seem long enough. I know we weren't the first people to take her home but I am so thankful we were the last. She wasn't like any dog I have ever had. She tolerated us at first but didn't seem to care if we were around. As time went on she seemed to love us more but when we had kids she really blossomed. The dog that would take my fingers off no matter what size treat I gave her would now take a cheerio out of our children's hand. She was happy to let our kids pet her and crawl all over her whenever they wanted. She protected them like they were her own. We always said she was stubborn and strong like a red headed human. I will miss her more than I can ever explain. I am thankful she is no longer suffering and she has been reunited with her beloved brother Mannix. With them both gone now there is a hole in my heart that will never totally heal. I love you my sweet puppy!!!
Daddy, Jacob, Emily and I will never forget you!!!!
