Gerri came out to meet some of the boys. After recently losing her last Dobe to cardio, she knew she needed another Doberman companion. Sweet Russy is a BIG boy who is really just a puppy in a giant body. He's only 2 years old, and is such a handsome and loveable boy. Gerri met him and swept him off to his new home with a new name, Sonny. Congratulations Gerri & Sonny! Thank you for opening your home and heart to a rescue Dobe. :flower:

He sure is a beautiful Dobe.  Very dark rust and black as coal eyes.  Very well put up and a great mover.  I sure hope he takes the loneliness away and give you many years of Dobie love.  Now to teach you how to scoop poop.

He's beautiful! Congratulations Gerri!

The embedded collars in his neck when we got him and he goes back and extends the gentle paw to the human race. One heck of a dog.

Yes he is beautiful both inside and out!  Couldnt stand the silence of not being with a dobe.  I think a made a great choice.  Everyone that has meet him so far falls in love with him! Sonny is definatelty a keeper.  He seems to be always happy, when I looked at his face I just thought he had such a sunny disposition thats how I named him! LOL.  Me and him are going up north this weekend to meet and greet some horses!  He loves to ride in the car so its going to be fun.   Thank you Arda again for this big boy, he is a great companion and takes away some of the pain of losing my last dobe.

Congratulations Gerri!  Sonny's good looks really come through on that picture especially those nice, white teeth.

Took sonny up north last weekend and had a blast with him. Great to travel with him, he is really good in the car. He loved being up there and we got lots of exercise. What an awesome dog, we are heading back up for the 4th. Fireworks don't seem to bother him one bit! Yay!

Beautiful dog.  All the way around.  He really looks like the Ominous.

I'm a little belated here (thought I had already posted), but congratulations, Gerri, on your adoption of Sonny!  It sounds like the two of you are a perfect fit, and I wish you many years of love and adventures together!

Another good weekend up north with Sonny! He sure loves it up there, what a great car dog!  Things are going really good and he has adapted wonderfully!  I love his confidence and how smart he is!   I stopped at the vets to get his heartworm meds and the vet saw him and  remarked what a good looking dog he is and a nice temperment!  I think I hit the jackpot with this boy!  I have some nice pics Id like to post but they wont from my phone.  Any suggestions?  Maybe I could sent them as a text to someone?

You got me on posting pics.  Joaquin only lets me touch certain buttons.  Otherwise he has to drive from Saginaw down here and he tends to get a little hot under the collar.  I do have a way with screwing up computers.  And dogs.  And marriages.  And everything else in my world.  Best I stay off facebook and locked in my yard.
