Hey - where's Cheri and Sharon! I think the sentinel covers it. It should.

It sounds like roundworms just from your description, but I want to stress I am not a health professional, canine, human, or otherwise.
Is this her first dose of the Sentinel since you got her? Is it regular Sentinel or Sentinel Spectrum? Both say they treat roundworms, but only the Spectrum treats tapeworms. Not saying that's what it is, just pointing out the difference between the two different Sentinels.
If this is her first dose, then my best guess is you're seeing a worm die-off that tells you the meds are working. If she has gotten previous doses, then I would be wondering why she still has worms. Either way, just for my own peace of mind, I would want to give my vet a call on Monday, explain what you saw, and get their advice. They may want to do a fecal float after the Sentinel has had a chance to do what it's supposed to do.
Likewise, I would ask your vet about Jack's possible exposure. My vet has always told me, if they find worms or worm eggs in one dog's sample, they generally like to deworm all the dogs in the family at the same time. Also, everything I've read and heard says humans should be careful not to touch contaminated poop. It should be picked up immediately, sealed in plastic bags, and properly disposed of.
Maybe someone who knows more than I do will chime in......

Those kids were wormed more than once while I had them here. They were both loaded with everything including coccidia. They had no idea that poop wasn't food or a facial mask.

I rewormed her sister just in case. It's a wonder that I don't have them too. No JackAE, I'm not worming me.

This mornings worm hunt found Zeus with round worms too and I nailed him with wormer. It's no wonder I don't see the spider webs in the corner of the windows, I'm too busy hunting worms on the ground and floor.

Back to "worms"..... went to the vet and heartworm preventer "Interceptor" is back on the market.... years ago had several of my dobes on it, then mfg NOVARTIS took it off the market. It appears to cover more "adult" parasites/worms than Heartgard.
