Cathy and Todd brought Doodgee and Suzz out to SDC today. This was Doodgee's first trip out since he was adopted. He still knew it was his place as he wandered around checking to make sure everything was still where he left it. I had a ggod pic of Arda and him standing together but between the camera beeps and the little whites it didn't come out. Maybe next time. Here are some pics of the day. This is Doodgee and Suzz playing.

Doodgee didn't want to wander to far. He stayed pretty close to dad, he didn't want him to forget to take him back home.

Then the heck raisers were left out of the house and we got to see them running and playing in the snow.

Yes.. Doodgee's first trip back since Dec 3.
He pranced around like he owned the place. Even showed some of his new found confidence he's been getting. Yeap ,Doodg will now be visiting more often as he handled the visit extremely well. Suzz did her usuall......" I know there's a cat in the barn and I will find it!"
I know many of you do not know Doodgee's history but this was a huge step for him and he never ceases to amazes us. What a great dog and I can not imagine where he would be without Arda and everyone who has helped him in his not so pleasent past.

Thanks to each and everyone of you! :P

To those of you who have not met Doodgee.. well now he will be making weekly stops out at the swamp if you are interested in meeting him :D

P.s. the prissy girl Suzz will be there too... :P

PUT HIM ON A SEVERE DIET! I love that darn dog. But he sure is happy with Todd. Cathy is the non controlling Mommy but Todd is the man. Thanks for bringing them out. I simply love that boy. The Swamp

I'm one of the ones who don't know Doodgee's story. When you have time I would appreciate it very much if you would share it.

It was nice to see the pictures of them playing. :P

Peanut, you barked at your Dad??

It's me, Peanut, don't you recognize me?

*bark?*

What in the world are you doing coming in the back door?  I don't know if I have ever seen you come in the back door.  I am usually with you.  How did you get to the store without me?  How did you get out of the house unnoticed?  What is going on here?????  Are we off our schedule?????    AAAAAAAAAaaaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!??????

*oof*

I protest.

  Whadja bring me?

Look I found a 19 squeaker toy for 75% off!

Doodg was the first one to greet Dennis and I, when we went out in November and picked Grindle & Betty. He was such a sweetheart, after all he'd been through. It was so nice to see the pics of him and Suzz playing and enjoying themselves. Truly a happy ending for him. If Arda says to put him on a diet, that must mean HE'S EXTREMELY HAPPY where he is. Sort of like when you first get married - everyone puts on weight :P

I'm so happy for all of you. Thanks for sharing the photos and the update.
