Just got a call from the vet and Coby's tumor was benign!!! Yippee!!!! It had to do with a gland which could possibly fill up again, but she is pretty sure she got it all. Having a problem with his bandages; even with a collar, he has figured out how to get his foot in his mouth. Seems the bandages were bothering him more than stitches so far. This morning I took the surrounding bandages off as the stitches were exposed anyways. He spent a goodly amount of time licking where the bandages were, but left the stitches alone. Will see what its like when my son gets home. He has a 9:15 AM appt. Sat. morning, so depending on what the Dr. says, hopefully we'll still be able to make the reunion.

Glad to hear it was benign! Hope he heals up fast!

So happy everything is okay. These four legged kids can turn hair grey almost as fast the two legged ones!

Such good news, Vickie.

Mary

Dogs don't know about beginnings, and they don't speculate on matters that occurred before their time.
Dogs also don't know-or at least don't accept-the concept of death.
With no concept of beginnings or endings, dogs probably don't know that for people, having a dog as a life companion provides a streak of light between two eternities of darkness

Thanks to all of you for your support. Quite honestly I think I suffered more than him. And Ella, I know you have a special place in your heart for him as we do in our heart for you. Am not sure if we can make the reunion, but I just wish you could see how good he looks and how happy he always is; constantly bounding around and just gets beside himself with any kind of attention. I think Gracie realizes how important it is for him to have attention as she always defers to him. His crate is filled with toys, bones and God knows what else that he hides amongst the blankets. Even though he has given us a run for our money, it was all worth it; he is such a joy and loves life so much. God Bless. Love Vicki, Cobalt Blue and Gracie.
