I just want to tell you all my experience with the SportDOG SD-400 Field Trainer electronic training collar.
As you are all well aware of Logan's dislike :) of the goose next door, well the neighbors who have the goose also have two boxers Lacy 5 and Luke 9 months and they three L's love to play play play....but Logan was always on a long lead while Lacy and Luke ran free with thier remote collars. We could drop the lead but on occassion he would still run and start barking at the goose who is now in a pen. Well my neighbor put one of the collars on Logan one evening and he responded like a champ......WITH JUST THE TONE BEEP.....I was so proud of him I came straight home and ordered one! The collar came the other day and OH MY GOSH :P I can't believe how GOOD Logan is with his new collar....We have only zapped him once on lowest setting which is 1 when he ran towards the gooses pen...now all I have to say is NO Logan come and he turns and runs right to my side!!!!
I hope I don't jinx us but this is the best thing we have ever gotten!!!! We have 2 acres and it was gonna cost us an arm and a few legs to fence the place in. We still will take him out at nite on the lead as we have fox/coyotte around here but during the day when we are out he is now out with us without being tied to a lead and it is wonderful...he is soooooo happy now!!!!

That is exciting !! So glad Logan is responding well to the new collar and you sound pretty proud too, good job. I bet the goose is happy too :-)
It is always nice when you find the perfect "tool" that works best, congratulation's.

Yeah, Logan!! Isn't it amazing how proud we are of these kids accomplishments?
My mom had geese for one summer when we were kids. She thought they would be pretty on the pond. They were mean and they came up on the porch to sun and pooped everywhere. Us kids were terrified of them, and once they started using the pool my mom got rid of them. I sympathize with Logan. :)

It matters to the one you save.
