I write this with a very heavy heart. My special girl Shadow had to go to the bridge a few weeks ago.
I just couldn't put my feelings in a post it was to hard for me to write. I miss her terribly she was my
sweet sweet girl that took Arda and I three days to capture her to get her to the rescue. No one knows the terrible life that she had it took three years for her to trust people she would look no one in the eyes she would curl up to the back of the crate on turn her back to you. It took a lot of time and working with her everyday. Taking her to stores so she would get used to people and sounds. I only got one picture of Shadow because the camera always scared her and she would run and hide.She loved other dogs, you could almost see a smile on her face when someone came over with their dog.
She would love to do the dog bow and play.When I took her to classes they knew that she did everything different we had to start her in the middle of the room because she would always hug the wall so no one could get to her,it was sad but that made her feel safe.Instead of calling her to you in the middle of the room we stood by the wall , because we knew she would run to you to be safe by the wall.She became a sweet dog that would finely come over to you for a small pet then come to me.She became my Shadow through the years and would be any where I was.
