The wee ones look wonderful . . . as do you!! They certainly don't look like they were early. Glad to hear they are coming along so well. Hope you can get some rest before it's time to go home. You're a brave woman. My hat's off to you. CONGRATULATIONS!!
Linda
The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated ... I hold that, the more helpless a creature, the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of man.

Dogs don't know about beginnings, and they don't speculate on matters that occurred before their time.
Dogs also don't know-or at least don't accept-the concept of death.
With no concept of beginnings or endings, dogs probably don't know that for people, having a dog as a life companion provides a streak of light between two eternities of darkness

We came up with Camille Christina and Raquel Marie

I put the Bump's doberquilts over their isolettes to keep out the extra stimuli (lights, noises, etc). With all the attention those blankies are getting from staff and family, we may end up with a couple adoptions over it

Both girls are doing as well as can be expected for their ages...34 weeks, 1 day. Camille is tolerating the feedings through a tube better than her sister, but both are doing super without supplemental oxygen. We all want so badly to pick them up and hold them, but we have to remember that they are not supposed to be here yet. We try to let them sleep as much as possible and retain every calorie they get so they can grow faster. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but it will all be worth it in a few weeks when they can be home

Pam - I can relate to your 'baby'....34 here and no plans for anything less than four legs. Luckily for my mom my brother had two.
