Posts can't be edited after a certain time, can they?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I've never had a problem going back and adding things to posts... it doesn't put it on "View New Posts" though... so no one really knows you changed anything...

I wish I could have been there!

Hey, Jane, I hear that Shaylee was there showiing off her beautiful coat!  One of these days I hope to actually SEE her!  haha!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

No, we were there on Friday! I couldn't make it Saturday. Sure looks like we missed a good time, though. The pics are wonderful. It's nice to see all the faces so that I can put them to the names.

It depends on the membership. Joni you can edit anything you've ever posted because you're a volunteer. Members can only edit their posts until someone posts beneath them. Then their post is locked.

Posts can't be edited after ten minutes post posting ( if that makes sense :) ). I can change it, though.

It makes sense though to "protect' the thread from changes later on...

That's exactly why I had it set that way. There was an individual that was causing problems on the forum at one time that we ended up having to ban. Prior to us banning this person, they had gone in and deleted the text in all of their posts. Record of trouble gone.....

I have to make a comment on Scott's HUMAN children! OH MY GOODNESS - What a couple of cuties! When your daughter came up and introduced herself and shook my hand...I almost picked her up and took her home with me. And Owen too. What a couple of cute kids!

Scott, We felt bad leaving just as you got there. I was glad that I got to say "hi" even though it was quickly followed with "bye". Duffy is a very handsome boy. We're looking forward to next time also.

Speaking of next time. Dude still wants to meet Jane and Shaylee.

No need to feel bad about leaving, After the day we had up to that point we fully expected to pull up and see noone at all, so seeing the few we did and being able to do the visiting we did was great! Dude was also a great looking boy also and hopefully next time he and Duffy can have a run together!

See Ya

No one is more disappointed than Queen Shaylee. She took a mud bath at Arda's on Friday and everything in an all out effort to get all snazzed up to see her Dude. Raz taught her how to lay down in a mud hole. Funny thing, she was the same color after she got dipped, but I didn't have the heart to tell her.

Hopefully next time!!

I didn't know which was worse on Friday - the mud baths that Shaylee and Raz were indulging in or the total body submerge into the pond that Kona kept taking.
Then there was Sonja with the green sea pack on her nose!

I couldn't believe how wonderful Shaylee looks though!

Please put me (Teri) down too. Ellen (aka Alena) will be attending. If I can I'll be bringing her big sis Jewels too. Jewels wasn't adopted from SCD, and she is a grump, but if I take Ellen and not her I may get the silent treatment for days.....that will only happen if I can convince someone else to tag along with me.

Let me know how the list of food is shaping up and what we are missing.

If your hubby don't want to go we may be able to carpool together - I'm not sure if mine is up for it - I'm still trying though - it must be a cop thing!

Ok...so I exaggerated a little. Gatta love those rumors about the gas prices jumping up to $4/gal. Luckily, I just have a little Ford Focus.

Ha ha, so do we for a second car, they get good gas mileage. On the other hand, my Trooper is another story.
