I meant did they do a complete thyroid panel like the one they did on Cocoa? I posted it on the previous page.

Yes, I think they checked her for all of it. It cost over $210.00 and they just checked her thyroid. Does that sound right? I didn't get paperwork on the test. so I just figured it was everything.

Wow, that's an expensive thyroid test!! Belle's thyroid testing was only $80.

ask them for a copy of the results.. you are entitled to a copy!!! and keep for your records...

sounds expensive to me.. but I haven't had to do that level of testing on any of my pets... I don't think even Dr. Dodds is that expensive...

Dr. Dodds is only $75 for an indepth thyroid test. Speaking of Dr. Dodds, I think she accepts faxes of thyroid results for interpretation, and I don't think she charges for it. She specializes in the canine immune system and hypothyroidism. Here's her contact info if anyone is interested in a second (expert!) opinion:

W. Jean Dodds, DVM
Hemopet
11330 Markon Drive
Garden Grove, CA. 92841

Dr. Dodds can be reached from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time, at the following numbers:

Monday, Tuesday and Friday (Phone) 310-828-4804 (Fax) 310-828-8251
Wednesday and Thursday (Phone) 714-891-2022 (Fax) 714-891-2123

I paid $90 for the initial thyroid test, then $80 for the follow up. Ella - get the paperwork so you know what they checked for and what you got for your money.

We just paid $98.00 for the initial. I'm sure it will be another $98.00 for the follow up. They just put on a new Tiki/Tango wing of the animal hospital. Quite the expansion.
