I love my human kids (I really do) but...

Raz and Kona....
are always happy to see me when I walk in the door
don't care what kind of car I drive
don't ask where we are going - are just glad that they get to go
don't care what we watch on t.v.
don't ask for money
don't need designer clothes, shoes or other things to be happy
appreciate all the time that I have with them
care when I am sad
know how to keep a secret
aren't afraid to be silly with me
don't say mean things because they had a bad day
don't get angry because they aren't getting their own way

Yes, I love my children. I do... I would walk to the end of the earth for them. I would die for them. But I thank God every day for giving us animals such as the great dobes to keep us sane. Because for all the love we may have for our children they certainly have a way of bringing insanity, chaos, heartbreak, and gut wrenches into our lives. It is nice to have a soft fur face to share with, to laugh with and to cry with.
If you pick up a starving Dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man..." -- Mark Twain

I feel the same way about my furkids. :w00t:

only things, they ever ask for are:
to be with us always
to go outside,
pet me, pet me, pet me, luv me, luv me, luv me
food.. usually does not matter what kind
Oh, and Suzz.. her pretties :D

To me, that is not much to ask, for all they give in return.

They are our best friends.

Now you get the point. THEY are my life. And they never say "it's them or me". I only season to taste, life with humans. I love all of you but I will die for these kids of mine. I love the saying Linda has on her posts. READ IT!

Linda/Arda are right on...
I wanted 1 child, a girl & thats what I got, I quit after her.
Had my tubes cut/tied at 27. I thank GOD everyday that
she is a great daughter & am proud of all she does...
The PLUS is shes as much an animal person as I am &
has the talent to do stuff with them...
I call her new Boy Presley her son when hes bad- go repremand
him! And she says take care of your dog Mom ! His sister Zeta...
Dogs are our life too, but I do hope Heather finds a nice guy & is
able to do what she loves & have a family as well... :)
