I contacted Diana last night and she is putting the catalogs in the mail today so I should have them in the next day or so. She also registered our organization so as soon as you receive your catalog, you can start selling.
As an incentive to those who are buying, you can offer to pay the sales tax. If you don't, remember, you must collect it.
If total sales are less than $1500, we have to pay $35 for the shipping and handling. Let's try our hardest to make this a very successful fundraiser. I'd love to be able to present Arda with a nice check. If people are not interested in making a purchase, but rather a monetary donation, that is fine. Just make sure you include a note with your check so I don't think you gave me too much money.
All money and orders are due to me on or before Monday, March 31. I will contact you with my mailing address as we get closer to that date. Remember to make a copy of your order before you send it to me.
For those who are new to this fundraiser, the organization receives 50% profit (this does not include the sales tax). There is no shipping and handling costs to the buyer. I am having all of the orders shipped to me this time, rather than having to go to Diana's house to pick them up. Once the orders arrive, you can let me know how you want me to get yours to you. It's not a problem for me to ship your order to you.
