Arda is going to be so happy to hear this! Her internet is out right now from all the storms. It's so sweet that he checks on CJ. He really is a lover boy. :)

And thanks. :D Anyone wondering what she is talking about, Joaquin and I got engaged.

This makes my heart smile!  Thank you for loving this special guy.  Arda, all the hard work put into him surely paid off when you look at those videos and pics:)

He sure is a great dog.  I see such a change in him from the day we carried a scared to death boy to the pictures of today.  It's like a different dog.  Totally different.

Hi Arda: It is hard to believe a year has gone by since Biscuit joined my family.  I sent a short video to Sarah and she said she will forward it on to you.  He is doing SUPER-he is a SWEETIE. He no longer "skips" on his hind leg-the movement is more of a weight bearing "paddle" type. The leg is filling in and is much stronger although I did notice this winter that the leg is sensitive to cold conditions and he can't be left out as long as the other dogs (he doesn't complain about being a couch potato all by himself)-even if it is just to play.  He did develop suddenly a hygroma on his elbow-if you watch the video closely at the end as he his running towards me, you can see it.  I know those can happen from sleeping on hard surfaces or from trauma-I suspect the latter-from playing too rough. He sleeps on a Kuranda bed and on the couch.  When I make the appointment for his annual shots, I will have them evaluate it-my research says just to leave it alone as it doesn't seem to bother him but it is fairly large-what is your experience with those? Have you had them drained and if so, did they reoccur? Although his hind leg can get tired, it doesn't stop him from being a happy, active dog!  He loves the other dogs and surprisingly, like Oscar, is very fond of CJ. You can't help but love that big, goofy fellow-he is just so sweet!!

Can you tell me where you get your collars from? I have found similar collars in the pet stores but they aren't as good of quality as the one Biscuit has.

Hope you survived this never ending winter and that all is well with you!! Biscuit sends his love!! And as always, Arda, thanks for all that you and the volunteers at Second Chance Dobes do!  Mary & Biscuit

Mary sent me a new video of Biscuit for Arda. Doesn't he look amazing? I think about the day he came in and how Arda and I had to carry him. Look at him now! :D

PLEASE send that video over to Dr Karen, for Karen and Kimi.

Sometimes you need a look at the good we have done to be able to swallow the bad that keeps happening.  We made a whole and happy dog out of that broken body we got in here.  This makes it all so worth while.  Kim had him at her house and was taking him back and forth to Dr Wright at Gasow Clinic for us.  She fell in love with him.  He touched all of us in so many ways.  He was so happy and he loves everyone.  Made my day.

I've watched that video 20 times if I have seen it once.  It makes me so happy to see that BIG boy living a happy life.  I think this was the trophy of all trophies.  We all deserve the thumbs up on that one.  Did we even get a picture of him when he first came in here.  We made a dog out of him.  Thank you God.
