I'm so excited to let everyone know that Arda trusted me to adopt Star with a Star.I brought her home on Friday and things are going great.Star and Moki get along real good.She has more energy then my boy but then she is a lot younger.The first time she met my husband she peed,but after that he sat on the floor and she laid down and wanted belly rubs.So it seems that she is more scared of men then woman we will work on that.She loves to be petted and loves to do the dober lean.LOL

She does the scoot boogie through the living room in full speed ahead.It is a riot to watch her have so much fun.She comes when you call her and already knows sit, shack, and down.I am so excited to see her grow into a confident girl. Today we will work with walking on the leash and then they both will get a bath.

Star is sleeping on my feet as I write this.

Awwwww.........She is a shining Star! :Star:  :doberman:

That's wonderful news!  Congratulations to all of you!  Star is a very lucky girl, and I bet it won't be long until it seems like she's just always been there.  :)

Jill sent me a couple pix of Moki & Star. (I am going to call her Starshine for a nickname, if you don't mind Jill. You know how I love a good nickname!)

Thanks for all the congrats from everyone.

Things are going well.Star learned that both dogs can play with toys together without

 any growling. Running around the back yard playing with toys and chasing after the wubba.

Star loves her wubba. Moki ran in his slow motion then just sat with his toy in his mouth and just watched

the crazy energy girl throwing her wubba up in the air then running like speed of lighting through the yard.

She does bark when new people come over, but she is fearful of them, it takes only a few minutes before she figures out that they are alright , then she will go to them with caution.Doug is able to get her to go to him and take treats then she will roll over on her belly for a rub.This will all take time but nothing like what I went though with Shadow.  

 

Well at 4:30 am they went out to pee and there was a rabbit in the yard and the chase was on.......

Oh my thank gosh he got out under the fence before it was over.It took me awhile to get them to come back in after that.

So now I have to do a rabbit check before they go out. :He He: At least it wore both of them out. So they came in and went right back to sleep   like nothing happened.I wish I could of feel back to sleep that fast :Hypnotized: But then I wasn't the one chasing the rabbit. :Silly:

 

Thank you Arda for my sweet girl, I just love her. She does walk very nice on a leash and will sit at my side when I stop walking.

She's such a good girl.

Star is just sitting closer to me so it looks that way.

As you can tell Moki has a very large chest on him and is shot and stubby.  :He He: He's my dobie in a rottie body. :Tounge:

I'll have to get more pictures and send them to Sarah to post.( Thanks Sarah )

Congrats Jill!!  Yes my mom is having a heck of time with rabbits right now too.  Lulu chased one right under the fence and my mom had to go out looking for her, luckily when my mom saw her she had enough sense to be walking on the sidewalk.  My my called for her and she came right up and showed her belly to my mom.

 

So yes reenforce fence got added to my to-do list at my mom's house!
