Okay everyone. We need a work weekend. Arda is still trying to move her carousel piece by piece. These are old, heavy, greasy parts, some 20 feet long. What we need are some good, strong people (or a large number of weakings like me!!!) that can help load and unload this stuff. Arda's plan for the carousel is to raise money for the dogs, to give a way to fund this rescue after she is gone. However, if she continues to move the parts alone as she is doing now, I for one am afraid she will be gone before she can get it finished. We need to organize a workbee with the same number of participants and same enthusiam that we show for other things like picnics and meet-n-greets. What weekend (maybe weekends, if we have a couple of small groups) can people come out, with strong backs and trucks and trailers?
We need to do it soon, because her ex is not getting nicer over her having the stuff in his building. I have a truck and trailer, and I can come down on either of the next two Sundays, the weekend of the 28-29 or nearly any weekend after that. I can leave the trailer there if anyone has a truck that they can hitch the gooseneck to. If someone will help but needs the truck/trailer I will be happy to leave it with Arda.

I got the pipes that hold the floor to the rounding structure today. Will get the 36 horse hagers tomorrow. There are 14 -20' sweeps that have grease and metal plates on them left; 14 sections of 2 sizes of heavy flooring; 12 of the geared cranks; and 14 very long umbrella hooks left. OLD THROWAWAY CLOTHES! and it's the end.

I can be there Saturday the 28th and can stay through Sunday. Brandon is going out of town and won't be back until Friday afternoon otherwise I'd drive down on Friday. If you need a ride back on Sunday, Heather, I can drive you back.

We can make it the 28th with the truck. We have a heavy duty reciever.If somebody has a trailer let us know if you have a tongue with a ball to use or let us know what size ball we need to get.

I have two big sons and an F150 truck; I will talk with the boys for the 29th as my one son has classes on Saturdays. Will let you guys know.
