Im saddened that SCD is not active anymore. I miss talking with all the dobe folks. How is Arda? I hope she is well, the same with all the rest of you!! Im not in the vet
Field anymore, retired I guess. I miss all the pets and my clients so much. Leaving just about did me in. Then I lost my husband and there went what life I had left 😟 Hope you all are well. Hug your dobes for me!!💜

Hugging them for all they are worth.  So sorry about your husband.  I think this avenue is called getting old.  Please don't let it get you down.  We're all going through it. One day I had 61 dogs here and today I have 11 misfits and they are the only thing keeping me above ground.  We are hanging in there.  Thanks for posting.  And how are you?

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband.  Getting older does bring so many challenges, not the least being the losses we must face.  There are only a few of us who still come around to the SCD discussion board.  For me, when I do, it's like seeing an old friend, familiar and comforting.  I hope you will post again soon, just to talk if you want.  Do you have any dogs now?

Hi Cheri, Arda has 11 dogs left all with health issues or just old. It's hard to see everything winding down.

We are all getting older and just can't keep up with all that needs to be done out there. We try our best!

I had been taking care of my husband for 4 months at home in and out of hospital. So I wasn't there to help

like before. I think I went 3 months without going out there. But still talked to Arda every morning. Celeste still goes out

on weekends and during the week. We have to keep Arda and the heathens in check....LOL

Hope everyone is doing well and taking care the best they can.

Kari did go out one weekend but of course had to get put to work lol. Arda loved the surprise that she came by.
