Hi

I am looking for a digital camera for everyday use... I'm no expert, I've been looking around for some and I really like the canon powershot G9. Price isn't too bad either. I read a lot digital camera reviews on alaTest. So something with those characteristics is what I am looking for and I don't want to spend over 500 USD... Good quality picture, zoom, etc.... what do you guys thing... I don't care much about brands either, but I've mostly been researching canons. what about the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50? or others similar? Please Suggest me if any.

Thanks
Mark

mark, I have gotten a lot of good use and been very pleased with my Sony Cybershot. Nice pics and probably would be better pics with someone who knows how to take pics better. CAB takes great shots. Maybe she has some input

Dogs also don't know-or at least don't accept-the concept of death.
With no concept of beginnings or endings, dogs probably don't know that for people, having a dog as a life companion provides a streak of light between two eternities of darkness

Hi Mark,
My husband travels a lot and takes lots of pics. He bought a Kodak EastShare M1033, and gets really good results with that. It downloads really easily and is not cumbersome. I'm sure there are newer models out there now, but the technology is good.

Thanks, Mary! I haven't a clue though when it comes to buying cameras. I was using a Kodak EasyShare CX7300 until it broke. This is why I haven't been posting pictures. I ordered a Kodak and even a Fuji, but sent both back as they were too slim and hard to hold on to.
The embedded collars in his neck when we got him and he goes back and extends the gentle paw to the human race. One heck of a dog.
