I've come to this site a few times in the past 2 weeks to let you all know Nemo has passed away, but putting the words down and reading them makes his death so final and I just couldn't do it until now.  Nemo was the most people loving dog (of any breed) I have ever seen.  He never met a person he didn't like.  He would poke you in the leg or whatever he could reach until you petted him and it would break my heart when some people ignored he gentle pokes because he was very bald.

Nemo loved people, he loved being petted and paid attention to, he loved being outside lying in the sun, he loved to eat.  Wobbler's and pain from arthritis just did him in.  And he was such a fighter, omg he fought the wobblers.  It never gets easier but it sure fills like it gets harder.  Hug your babies.

Dogs don't know about beginnings, and they don't speculate on matters that occurred before their time.
Dogs also don't know-or at least don't accept-the concept of death.
With no concept of beginnings or endings, dogs probably don't know that for people, having a dog as a life companion provides a streak of light between two eternities of darkness

I am so sorry for your loss. He sounds like he was a wonderful boy. Keep the memory of the good times close. Linda & Willie

I'm so sorry Mary. :'(  It's just hard, no matter what. He was a good boy. Thank you for loving him so much, for giving him a family. Run free Nemo....

Mary, I'm so sorry. After I saw this, I went back & read his New Beginning. He had a wonderful life with you & was obviously much loved. Try to take comfort in knowing that. You're in my thoughts & prayers.
