A great big "THANK YOU" to The Bristow's for the added financial help with Musky-Kegon. Your donation will be well used on them. Thanks!

Well, with happiness comes sadness. Didn't want to jinx the pup by reporting too soon but Faith broke with Parvo and after a 5 day battle at the vets office she passed away. What a shame. Kegon and Musky are the only ones left alive. On the better side, they are doing great. Kegon dosen't look at all bad. Musky has more weight to gain. Exercise will start this week end. Both of them are over 60 pounds. Stop in and see them. Or walk them. They need some training and I'm an olde woman.

Glad that the 2 you have are doing great. Bless that poor puppy's heart. She never stood a chance. I am sure that everyone that came into contact with her is mourning her loss. Keep up the good work Arda.

Poor little Faith. At least she got the chance to feel loved.

I'm glad to hear Musky and Keagon are doing better. Do we know how old they are?

I'd love to take a drive down there one of these weekends.
For the love of K.A.T.

Another Up Date: As of 1:00 Friday, March 31, the prosecutor's office has dismissed the misdemeanor charges against the owner of the monkey and Dobes and replaced it with felony charges. The officer in charge was on his way to arrest the owner on Friday. Keep Thinking good thoughts group. These dogs need to be released to us for altering and placement. There has to be a God.

I am going to send another letter.....

I think this is fabulous news!!!

I have a guy on my caseload that is serving on his 6th year of a 5-7 year sentence for Animal Cruelty charges (he killed one dog).

My heart just breaks into a million pieces when I think that people can be so cruel to aninals. All they want is to love us and give us unconditional love, people who abuse them have no heart and have no idea what love is.

Arda, you are an angle for what you do for all these kids. I don't even want to think what this world would be like without you, keep up your good work God sure knew what he was doing with you,,,,, :pinch:

Thanks for the pics. Like Kzoo said, it's amazing what a little food and water can do. I can't even refer to the prior owner without having feelings of ... oh nevermind.

Peanut, you barked at your Dad??

It's me, Peanut, don't you recognize me?

*bark?*

What in the world are you doing coming in the back door?  I don't know if I have ever seen you come in the back door.  I am usually with you.  How did you get to the store without me?  How did you get out of the house unnoticed?  What is going on here?????  Are we off our schedule?????    AAAAAAAAAaaaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!??????

*oof*

I protest.

  Whadja bring me?

Look I found a 19 squeaker toy for 75% off!

Arda, you and your volunteers make my heart soar. What great news for such a special week in many religions. I just can't help but think all the letters we sent may have had something to do with changing this charge to a felony. Again, good work one and all. By the way, does anyone know how that poor little monkey is doing?
