It's been another sad day at SCD. Our Sofie just couldn't get up anymore without us lifting her up with her harness.
Then she really didn't want to eat so Arda made the tough call to have her go to the rainbow bridge and see all her
friends that left too so. Run Free sweet girl and get those squirrels you always were after.

This is very sad news. I'm so sorry that Sophie had to leave this earth, but as you say, she will have many friends waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge. Rest peacefully, beautiful girl.

Sofhie was 11 years old. Red Dobe, thin but in good health. Her owner had to go into assisted living and a place was needed for Sofhie. It took some time to gain her trust but but she finally excepted me. Her health started to fail about a year ago and she would not let me out of her sight. Finally could not wslk without help. We sure do miss her.

That last picture of Sophie is the way she loved to spend her days. Watching her TV screen. Bird feeder is 4 ft from the door and she watched chipmunks, birds and squirrels all day. Sometimes she just shook with anticipation of catching them. Her most favorite place. Sure do miss these old kids.
