I'm sure that we will have new pictures of the new kids as soon as Sarah gets awake and has thoroughly licked all her wounds from a day at the Swamp. It was a full day. Lori and John came in from the North woods, Sarah and Joaquin came in from Saginaw, and I crawled out from under my rock. John headed up the repairs on the kennel siding that has been falling off. Lori fed everyone. Sarah scooped poop and walked dogs. Joaquin got the last logs on the fire pit and ran that great camera. I did nothing.

We have to throw Heather and Madison in the mix also. They came in from way up NORTH on Friday. Picking up all these kids as they came. Now, you really have to take a ride with Heather to appreciate that they all arrived safely.

Here are some pics of some of the new kids. Yahtzee (the black girl) is 10 and Reggie (the red girl) is 8. They are sweet girls and their owner had to give them up due to losing her home. They are such good girls. Reggie is a character. She was ready to get in any car that was around. Here she is checking out our trunk and then hopping in Bumps' van. At one point Arda asked where the old girls were, and I found them laying on the porch waiting to go in the house, lol. They have only been there two days and they seem to be making themselves right at home.

Here is Primo. He was pulled from a gassing facility. What a sweet, sweet boy! He is just full of playfulness and so velcro. He has some skin issues, Arda is having thyroid and allergy tests done. He has sores on his feet, but he is on antibiotics for that and they are already a lot better. This boy is a doll.

Tayla and Reggie are almost bookends. I am still looking at the collars to tell who is who. Yahtzee and Reggie walked in the door and made themselves at home. Heather had to chase Yahtzee down Friday night and again on Saturday and from then on she is at the front door when I open it. They do know their name. They eat like they have never seen food before but show no signs of not being cared for. Sisters from different litters.

Wow Reggie looks so much like Tayla. I thought it was Tayla when I looked at her pictures.
That Primo boy is such a nice boy. I only got to meet him once and I told Arda what a nice BIG boy he was.
I can't wait to see all the kids, I missed seeing them last weekend and I am having withdrawals now.

Those two older girls are beauties, heck, all the new ones are, lucky to find SCD and their new start in life. Sounds like another fun day at the swamp, getting a lot of things done, thanks to all who made it possible.
