I had to let my sweet Olive go today. Her wobblers got the best of her. And I really think she missed her sister Nellie. I fell in love with Olive the day she came into the rescue. The lady that brought Olive to the rescue opened her hatch back on her car and there stood Olive. I walked over to Olive to greet her and she gave me a little kiss on my nose. From that moment on I knew I was going to bring her home. But before I could this lovely lady by the name of Betty adopted Olive. I balled my eyes out. About 5 years later Olive lost her mommy and I had them drop Olive off at my house. Olive was such a good girl, never asked for much. She was so easy going. I love you Olive and I will miss you. I am sure your mommy Betty and your sister Nellie were right there greeting you when you went to the rainbow bridge. Run free sweet baby girl run free.

To honor Olive Arda and I went to Ingham County animal control and picked up a 7 year old female that has been road hard and put away wet. Poor girl has a scar around her neck from a chain being to tight and probably embedded. And has been used as breeding stock. :(Attached File  20171108_192907.jpg   111.64KB   0 downloads

I'm so sorry for your loss of your Olive. It's really hard to lose two so close. The hard work you do for rescue and for Arda specifically will be rewarded when you get greeted by all the dobes you've saved at the Bridge. Prayers, Linda

Oops I guess I need to clarify. I didn't bring the new girl home she is at Arda's at the rescue. I am sorry for the confusion I was not thinking clearly.

I am so sorry, Jackie, to hear that you have had to say good-bye to Olive, so close on the heels of losing Nellie.  Olive was a lucky girl to have both you and her previous loving mom, Betty.  I know she will be surrounded by love at the Rainbow Bridge.  Run free, Olive.  You will be greatly missed. :Rose:

Jackie -

I am so sorry.  Tough enough to lose one, much less two so close together.  You are in my prayers.  Nellie and Olive had a wonderful life with you.  Run free, sweet girl.

Linda
