Well, there she goes. My Diddles was bound to steel someones heart and when it was Bumpette and Bumpster I knew she would be safe for the rest of her life. So off she went to the north woods with Dude and Darcy. She is in good hands and will learn to be a good dog. I'm sending my love with her.

The 'north woods' is probably the best place for a Dobe who is about the same as a wild deer on the end of a leash. She is really timid and everything is new to her. We are starting her out S - L - O - W - Y. She has accepted the leash, she is on it ALWAYS. She will be our constant companion, literally. Once she is used to us and more trusting, we'll get her into an obedience class. We are going to try our best to make a Dobe out of her. We'll keep you updated on her progress.
Happiness is a decision.

Good Luck! I think it's great that you both took her into your home. I wish you lots of luck to do everything that will be needed of you to help this dog become a doberman! You are very special, kind people!

WOW! What a nice surprise! Diddles is going to blossom into one wonderful Dobergirl in your care. Congratulations!

It's a perfect fit. Diddles needs love and patience, and she will get lots of that at the Bumps! I think John's heart would have broken if they hadn't taken her. She is so beautiful! I can't wait to see the updates and hear the stories. Congratulations to the whole family. This is the happy ending Arda dreams of for her pups. I still like Honey for her name, she just looks like a Honey.

John and Lori, I always knew the 2 of you were special people. The best of luck and I will be thinking of you often as I know Diddles will get all she needs from you to become a much happier, confident, and loving baby.

Diddles slept peacefully in her crate all night. She went outside on the leash and eventually tended to business. I couldn't believe it took her so long to find the perfect place to go, I was hoping she would be quick about it as it was 16 below zero. Brrrr!!! She came back in and ate her breakfast with relish. I came in and tried to thaw out! Wow was it COLD! It is interesting to do my work around here with a very timid girl following me around on the leash. I've put her in her crate for a morning nap.

Congratulations Bumps! How perfect...now all you need is a blue and a white......LOL. Mark my words, under the Bumps care Diddles will turn around in no time and be a very outgoing dobergirl. You watch! More pics!

Congrats to Diddles and family. I got to meet her and she is a sweet heart, just timid and not socialized, but I am sure that will be taken care of shortly!

Congrats again!

I'm sooooo happy for Diddles. What a great forever home. We know you and John will make her into one
wonderful, playful, fun loving dog. Just what she needs too be.
I'm sure it must seem strange having a leash tied to you.Is she training you.LOL
Best if luck with her. I loved Diddles. I would of taken her home but Doug said Eric has to
learn to be a little bit better then he is right now. As you know I am working with him. He
is doing better. Diddles might even learn faster then Eric. Because I spend alot of time at Arda's and
not on Eric. Oh well he loves going there to make Arda laugh. He's going too miss his playmate. :P
