Beyond the realm of imagination. What in the heck is young with the world and the idiots in it. And this would only be the first step in their lives of crime. My God, save us.

The embedded collars in his neck when we got him and he goes back and extends the gentle paw to the human race. One heck of a dog.

This is disgusting and I did send out e-mails to the list, Hopefully they'll read an e-mail from Canada because I believe this is a Global problem, not 1 confined to 1 city State or even Country!! I truly hope they get what's coming to them even though it could never be what they inflicted on that little puppy!!

I absolutely cannot describe the sickness in the pit of my stomach. I just don't understand this world sometimes and it scares me. The other day I mentioned to my husband that I was worried someday that someone could break into our house, I am not worried what they may take, but if they would hurt our dogs. You just don't know anymore about anyone.

Sad thing is.... the article states what the maximum sentence is but does not state what the minimum sentence is. I would be really curious as to what the minimum is! Not that it matters really. I don't think that the punishing 2 young men to even 1-5 years in a prison sentence where they get 3 meals a day, t.v., possibly air condition, health care, writing materials provided, postage, library, etc. is punishment for what they did to that poor puppy.

We need to go back to "an eye for an eye" THEN criminals might stop and think. I get so tired of the age old excuse of "I was young" or "I was dumb" We were all young!

Or... what about the gas chamber, electric chair... I am all for it!!

And if sentenced to 1-5 years.... we would be lucky if they don't get "time served" after their jail time while awaiting trial. Our wonderful criminal justice system at it's finest.
If you pick up a starving Dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man..." -- Mark Twain

Okay, Arda. I have a hard enough time with the title.

I swear if I read stuff like this I would end up a serial killer of puppy hurters.

I think their parents should be hog tied and burned also. Where were they when this was going on!
I feel bad when I yell at the dog, how can you do something like this to a puppy?
People make me sick.

I couldn't even read the article about the dog dying saving the cat from a fire. Where it comes to animals suffering I swear I am emotionally unstable. I work as an RN in long term care (geriatrics, mostly), and I love it and do it because we seem to live in a society that prays on those weaker than we are-elderly, children, animals.
Those that torture animals usually escalate to include people. That is frightening that there are people out there like that.

Dogs don't know about beginnings, and they don't speculate on matters that occurred before their time.
Dogs also don't know-or at least don't accept-the concept of death.
With no concept of beginnings or endings, dogs probably don't know that for people, having a dog as a life companion provides a streak of light between two eternities of darkness

They are just soooo sick!!! :whistling:
If they will do that to a dog, its just a small step
to hurting a child next....
I hope they get the treatment in jail they deserve, &
I dont mean good

Arda, will look at the pups when we come out next weekend,
try to see what they are... :ninja: But know they are safe now.

Happy, beautiful mahogany and rust pups. Marked like a Dobe. Kathye, Kevin, and I mushed them tonight. Pixie is a little shy. Price is in for the long haul. And Patsy is a Tilly. They might be Labormanns. The sack they live in is too big for the pup like a Lab or a Z factored. Awesome pups. Awesome and they are alive. This is Georgia's litter.
