Dolores & Richard came out to meet Bruiser this weekend. They have had Dobes for years. Their last boy, King, was a therapy Dobe who they visited hospital patients with. They are hopeful Bruiser will also enjoy this. We are so happy for our sweet Bruiser. He is a beautiful boy, and a very sweet boy too. Congratulations on your newest member of the family and thank you for choosing rescue! :flower:

So far everything is going good.  So glad he finally got a home.  Beautiful dog and it was Delores and Richard's 57 anniversary.  This is an anniversary to remember.

Update on the big guy Bruiser. He has started obedience training at Dan Morris.Doing well walking ,sitting,.He has made friends with the neighbouring dogs.Found the squirrels and chipmunk in the yard.He has given us many laughs as he adjusts to our home.We caught him running with my 3 lb weights in his mouth. He is worth his weight in gold. Dolores and Rich

I'm so glad he is fitting into your home so well.  He is a beautiful boy and I'm sure he is a quick learner.  Thanks for giving him a home.

LOL most people have to go through a lot of training to get their dog to retrieve the weights for them and he is doing it on his own...not bad!!!

Nothing like a dobe that minds (at least half the time).  Dan Morris is still around ?  My sister n dobe went thru his class years ago, when she lived in Garden City.

So glad for both of you and Bruiser, sounds like a good match!

Beautiful boy!  That made me laugh about the 3 lb weight.  Valentino did the same thing when I first brought him home.  Silly kids

The embedded collars in his neck when we got him and he goes back and extends the gentle paw to the human race. One heck of a dog.
