My wimp Willow bush has Pussies on it.  I was so surprised.  They are beautiful!  And I really need SPRING.  I'm starting to lap water like a dog and itch all night.  And all I see out there is a lot of work in the yard from the garbage truck.

Yes spring is here, what a beautiful day today!

Until we decided to drive the John Deer which we just got back from repair. Around the yard and guess what happened.....

Arda decides to drive it where they put the underground wires and squish into the track...yep down the John Deer went and got stuck. So we got the tractor unstuck

and then she drives it to the muddy driveway yep and it sunk in the mud track again. So we both work on getting it out Arda lost a shoe and a sock in the mud. Don't

know how that happened.......As we both started laughing and said what a beautiful day it started out to be. Any way we are all good and Johnny got a wash with the hose

then we said we are done for the day and we both need baths.....Happy Spring Everyone!!! :He He:

And she yelled at me.  "What the H... were you thinking."  At my age I don't have to think.  That's what she's around here for.  To keep me out of trouble.  And Mouth got even.  He just does what he wants to do.  And Jill thinks she can make him mind.  He gave her a run for her money.  And I got the drive all cleaned while she was trying to bribe him into coming in.  It was a beautiful day.  And a real start to a rough year.

Spring looks like it might -- just might -- be here to stay, finally.  Of course, that means it's mud season now for a while, as Arda and Jill have already experienced.  My husband is waiting to hear about getting an appointment for knee replacement surgery, maybe both of them at the same time.  Not sure about that, or whether it will only be the worst one first.  Either way, this means he'll be recovering and I will be the one to do all the mowing and other outside work for a while.  So I just may have my own opportunity to get the John Deere stuck here and there.  That's okay, I've done it before and managed to get it unstuck by myself, so I'm hoping for the best.  B)

He'll be fine.  Just a little hard to get down on my knees to plant things in the yard.  It's better than the pain from the messed up knees.  Go for it.

May all my Dobie friends out there have a great Passover and a very Happy Easter.  And may there be peace on this earth.  God bless and keep all of you!  Pictures of the Heathens' Easter Egg hunt to follow from Jill.

Hello Cheri,

Prayers for your husband :Praying:

My Grandpa had his done at the same time and did well enough that he could at home therapy.

He'll be fine.  Just a little hard to get down on my knees to plant things in the yard.  It's better than the pain from the messed up knees.  Go for it.

Thanks for the good wishes.  Rick's surgery is scheduled for early June.  He'll just be having the worst one done first.  He's feeling positive about it, and he's one who will follow all the doctor's orders and do the physical therapy, etc.

I'll be doing the yard work for a while, I'm sure, which means I'm going to have to give myself a refresher course on the John Deere lawn tractor.  All the controls are in different places than the old one, and I get confused enough that I sometimes cannot remember how to even start it.  I have had to resort to just dusting off the old one and using it.  I'm determined to study the owner's manual on the new one, though, and be thoroughly familiar with it soon.
