Tried to get a Christmas picture of Sammy but he was having none of it! This is as good as it's going to get-he hates my phone. Everyone have a wonderful & blessed Christmas.

Everyone that was at SCD this week end had to marvel at how well adjusted and great Sam looked. Pam has him right on. He looks and acts like he had never been neglected in his life. The coat just sparkles. His eyes are bright as a new pup. I know Joaquin got pictures of him so "What do you think?" Is this not a great looking boy? THUMBS UP PAM! You have really done a good job!

He really looks like a different dog. When I came in the house, he came in with me and I asked Arda who he was. I thought he was a new dog, I didn't even recognize him! He truly looks and acts amazing. Just one happy, happy boy. Here's some pictures.

I was at the vets today and I told her he was here this week end. She asked how his coat was. He was is such bad shape when he came in that we thought he was a blue. Well that coat is in and he is definitely a red. What a surprise. Boy am I proud of the way he looks and acts. He is very young but he didn't try anything stupid with all the other males that was here. Pam is pouring her love all over this boy. This is a BIG thumbs up.

Pam, go back to these pictures. His chest hasn't spread and dropped yet. His tuck up is good but the chest will fill out and it will all come together. No more weight. It's coming together just right. I think he is younger than we had him listed as. He looks and acts like a 2 year old. Lots of energy and small chest. Just love him.

It's been a few years coming, but my sweet Sammy Stringbean earned his CGC today-I'm one proud mama! (Would have posted a pic but it's on my phone & I can't remember my password for the SCD site-have it saved on my laptop but it doesn't show of course.)

Congratulations, Pam and Sammy on getting the CGC! I refreshed my memory by re-reading this whole thread, and all I can say is thank you for giving Sammy such a wonderful home and a beautiful life with you. This is what rescue is all about.
