I wanted to update you on Phoebe, she originally had the nose discharge, now her right side of her face is swollen, looks like she has a tumor in her sinus, vet is not really sure, plus she now has a tumor in her neck. That just came on in the last month. It's going so fast, it scares me because I know her time is limited. She has trouble breathing so we watch her closely. She still wags her stub and asks for treats.
I remember when I first saw her on SCD and she kept calling to me to come and get her and we did.
At least I found a vet I have faith in but it's really bad when he says is only a matter of time. I know there another kid out there that needs a home just like she did but no one can replace her.

Oh Olga, I'm so sorry. She knows she is loved, safe, and protected. Hopefully she continues to feel ok. You have given her the greatest gift- a real family. She will always be your girl. Prayers for you and for Phoebe.

You'll know when she's ready Olga.....you're her mom. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I know that she is in the best hands possible though. Love her, love her, love her.....

I am sorry to hear this news on Phoebe, we hate times like this, but can't avoid them as long as we have dogs. You have given her all the wonderful love and her own family, she will never forget that and you will never forget her. Give her lots of love and you will do what is best for her.

Olga, I've been thinking about you and Phoebe. I feel like you are making the best decision for her by not putting her through any more tests too. Just love her and feed her anything she wants:) From what you describe, it's the same thing that happened to my Trinket. I never put out the money for CT scans or any other procedures/test either. Dr Karen and I both felt the same way about it. Really, what would you do if you went through all that and it was a mass? Chemo? Radiation? More med to make her sicker? You wouldn't want her to have to go through that. Just keep doing what you're doing and love her with everything you've got. I'm glad she's with you and Larry.

We found a lump in her neck and you can see it's getting to her because she doesn't know what is happening. But she is still a wiggle butt and loves her treats. We have been keeping her comfortable, as much as we can. Now with both sides of her nose draining, it's hard for her to breath but she does threw her mouth alright. For anyone else and I hope no one's kids ever get this, but the vet thinks it's a tumor growing way up her nose and pushing on her eye so it tears too. We think because of how fast it's progressing, she may only have about a few more weeks. She may surprise us but we don't want her to suffer. It's really weird because we adopted her in April.
