What a devastating loss . . . not only to the Milans, but to "dogdom" as a whole. He did so much; not only to repair the image of pits in general, but all the dogs he helped to rehabilitate. You will long be remembered, Daddy.

What a wonderful dog ambassador he was. He lived a good life and made immeasurable contributions to the dog world. I sympathize with what the Millan family is going through right now. Run free, Daddy. We'll all miss you.

How sad. He changed the minds of so many regarding the pit bull stigma. With Caesar as an owner, Junior should follow nicely in Daddy's footsteps :sorcerer:
We give dogs the time we can spare, the space we can spare, and the love we can spare. And, in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.

Since I am not much familiar with Ceasar Milan, other than to know his name, I am not familiar with Daddy, but certain was a beautiful animal, and how lucky to make it to 16. The truly sad thing about the Pit Bull stigma is that they are not people-aggressive dogs as a breed, and have to be made that way, so that banning them makes no sense. Hope that more influential trainers also have "bully" dogs and get the word out. I was thrilled to see in the heading of his page that Ceasar is posing with a dobie, a pit, and a German shepherd, in addition to the retriever. Good solid dogs who get bad reputations from bad people.
