Our Dobe club is doing the WAE test this year & we are
offering the CGC test as well. The Detroit Club hosted
the WAE last yr, so we did the Match/CGC but they chose
not to do a match so unless I can get someone with the
rally signs & stuff to practice with no... If we do, will let you
know... But it would have to be set up after the WAE & CGC
are over..

Just a note here for anyone wanting to try the CGC but a little nervous about it - we tried it last year with Bobbie Green and she was really friendly and nice! It was very low-key and she gives you and your dog every chance to succeed. She also worked with Brownie and I afterward on the stuff we messed up. It was a very posivite experience and she is in no way intimidating or harsh. I highly recommend trying it , especially if Bobbie is the tester, because it really is a very basic set of exercises and she is so nice.

But the show will have obedience & go on all day

We made "holders" with that plastiky (nice word eh?) stuff they use for display boards. They were like "tent cards" with a little velcro stuck on them. They don't work worth a darn in the wind - but they're GREAT inside!!
I've found that when we're working outside that a stone does a great job of holding down the signs.
Seriously - that's what we do ... head out to a school yard, set up a course and hold everything down with stones. 
I have all the rally signs too ... but they're the Canuckyland ones which are slightly different (of course!
) from the US ones. We should have a Rally day somewhere!!!

I can laminate anything. also I have cones if you need a few just let me know. I have small ones and 18" and 24" cones. I have dozen's of them.

Anyone interested in a trip to Traverse City and want to carpool? Stef? hahaha! This is only about 7 hours for you...
Sure! Tux and I can leave in the evening, sleep at a rest stop in the car then arrive fresh and ready to show on the 17th!
It wouldn't be a big deal if it was summer .... but 7 hours after a dog show only to go to work Monday with 23 ten year olds would be more than I could handle!

You still have school that late in June? Wow - I am out of here the 1st. You Canadians are sure strange...Sure! Tux and I can leave in the evening, sleep at a rest stop in the car then arrive fresh and ready to show on the 17th!
It wouldn't be a big deal if it was summer .... but 7 hours after a dog show only to go to work Monday with 23 ten year olds would be more than I could handle!
