I don't want to step on anyone's toes but I ran across this today.

Goodsearch.com will donate .01 for every search that is done through their website. I see that SCD is already set up.

GoodSearch.com

I don't know about you, but I do searches on Google all the time. I have no problem changing my search engine.

If this is for real I"ll switch at work and home. They have all the SCD info. So, will SCD earn from it?

I tried to find any 'Hoax' info on it, but couldn't. If you search 'GoodSearch' in google, you can find different news articles on it.

If someone else has any other info, please pass it on, but I can't find anything illigitament about it.

I've submitted an update to the information to see if we can get the phone number removed. :(

I just wanted to bring this back to the top for the new people on the site.
We've lulled a bit since April, but it does look like we're still using the engine.
Currently, we've raised $23, just by doing what we do.

Let's see if we can end the year out with a bang - (and if the check really shows up).

We've been using it since you posted it back in February. I am curious to see if Arda gets a check at the end of the year from them!

Good Search now has Good Shop. Click through the link on there sight to the online store you shop at and earn a donation from the vendor when you buy. Lots of places listed, even Ebay.

I'm going to try it for my next online purchase.

Me too.
I've really been hitting it this month (Sept).
It will be interesting to see if and when she gets a check.

For those who like to purchase things online, Good Search also has a Good Shop where you can buy merchandise online and earn money toward our cause as well. :) I think the average earnings from online sales is around 3% of total purchases, so if we collectively spend $1000 over the course of a year, SCD earns $30.

Just wanted to remind everyone, if you do any Christmas shopping on-line you can use Good Shop and earn money for SCD. So far this year, we have earned $154 for SCD by using Good Search and Good Shop. There is only one month left for this year, maybe we can get over $200!

It matters to the one you save.

I use this site whenever I can and have shopped through them a time or two! and search out things even if I know the website. Every penny counts!!!

I do check our results every once and a while too...

Just thought I'd put in my comments, since I am the one who does all my shopping thru GoodSearch to rack up the shopping dollars. If you install the toolbar, you will always have access to the search site as well as the shopping. Whenever you go to site that donates thru Goodsearch, you will get a message letting you know how much will be donated. With the toolbar, you will have a white box, just like with google, and you type in what you want to search. If you still have problems, I would be willing to walk you thru it on the phone.

Do you type in "SCD" or "Second Chance Dobes"? Type in our full name, "Second Chance Dobes" and it should come right back up.

If you cookies have been deleted, you will get the blank box asking who you want to donate to...

Good idea Michelle!!! I'm on so many different computers so haven't done that...

Just a reminder to use Goodsearch and Goodshop!!! I see the #'s are coming down in the last few months. A couple of orders online through Goodshop and we raised $46 last month!!! I've gotten into the habit of checking there first to see if there is a donation possible for an order I'm already gonna make!!!
