My dog has recently started eating her poop. I have never had to deal with this before and it is disgusting! There are so many different supplements out there, has anyone had any luck with any particular brand?? She just turned a year old.

Stone eats poop. Any poop. We have tried a million things. The only thing that I have found that is 100% is standing out there and scooping as soon as any of them goes. It sucks, but we tried pineapple, meat tenderizer, etc. None of it made a difference.

I had 2 of my old girls start do "that", started adding "Prozyme" to their food, and they stopped.  I think that they were not digesting

their food enough due to being old dogs, so it smelled good still when it came out the other end.  This could apply with the food your feeding her now, it might have something in it that she isn't fully digesting, the Prozyme would help with that, and then she would be less attracted to it.

Also, you might want to try scooping the yard and not having the dog outside with you while your doing it - that was a vets suggestion.

Total 100% supervision when he is outside, that is the only thing that will work.  Stone knows I don't tolerate it so he rarely tries it with me outside now unless he see's I'm too preoccupied with something else.  Sarah, the big softy on the other hand, they know they control her so they do as they please when she is out there with them. hehe :Tounge:

Help: Keno has recently started doing this. Finally got his breath better and the plaque rocks off his teeth from previously not being taken care of then he starts this. Sooo Disgusting. Not all the time but enough to be gross.

I used deter for a while and it didn't help so I stopped. Then one day like 6 months later she stopped doing it. Thank goodness!

I mean really you need to have a good "leave it" command with your dog, something that means stop what they are doing and move away.  Probably not best to use their name for something like this as using their name for a leave it command could be confusing.  A stern "eht eht" can work as well.  You would teach this command like any other, repetition.  When they are on a leash or long line and into something, issue the command and walk in the other direction.  Soon only the command will be needed.

Stone is now so in tune to me, I guess I have a habit of clearing my throat before I issue a command, so now he responds to me just clearing my throat....silly boy.

But I have to watch Stone like a hawk or he will do it. He'll stop if I say "NO" but he doesn't even try to sneak it with Joaquin. :P

And you have not noticed the size of Joaquin?  He demands authority by mere size.  Stone is NOT stupid.  His brain says, "You command, I obey".
