The sad thing is he is now 9 years old and no one wants to adopt a senior. I know after I loose Dozer my next dog will be a senior. Maybe even Cassius if things work out?

I'm with you, Jackie.  I wouldn't hesitate to adopt a senior, and I'm sure there are others here on this board who feel the same way.  But you're right that the majority of people looking to adopt are looking for a younger dog.  I have a 10-year-old male right now, but if something happened to him, I would definitely consider adopting a dog like Cassius or the 13-year-old male you are picking up tomorrow.

Oh my gosh, that is so sad. I agree, my next one will be a senior. They're usually are just mellow enough to be good company. Wish I had the room to take Cash.

Cassius is coming home his owner passed away

Well I found out that Tom passed away 5 years ago so his daughter kept Cassius. But she fell on hard times and contacted us on Facebook to see what she should do with him. He was living in a empty house with no heat and electric for two months. Thank God he is in a warm house now.
