My sister had to put her 14 year old German Shorthair Pointer down today. Alice was such a good dog. She was great with the kids and so loving. My nephew is also 14. He doesn't know life without Alice. Please say a little prayer for them and especially for Devin, my nephew. Alice was his best friend. :( The poor kid has lived in 4 states in his life and gone to 3 different schools in the past 5 years. Alice was his constant buddy.

We love you so much Alice. You be a good girl and play with Reno and Fred at the bridge. We miss you already old lady. Run free Alice....

Oh, how sad.  Love to Devin and peace to Alice.  14 years old.  Good dog!

Sorry for the loss of Alice, what a wonderful life she had with your sister and family, many memories, and sending healing prayers.

It's always hard when our sweet loving friends leave us at any age. 14 is a good life and the picture of Alice is so loving and wise. My prayers to her family especially Devin. Having her his whole life leaves a terrible hole in his world. If your sister and her family is as loving and caring as your family (and I'm sure they are) they will help him through this sad time.  Linda

It sounds like she was one of a kind, a really sweet girl.  Run free at the Bridge, Alice.  My sympathies to your whole family, and especially to Devin.  :Rose:
