Joaquin and I plan on coming and bringing both kids to try their CGC. I want to try Alley in her WAE too. I am getting ready to send in for their ILP numbers. Who else is planning on going? I know a lot of you went last year. Last year on the day of the WAE we were adopting our kids. :(

I planned on doing the WAE with Alley until I saw how afraid of the fireworks she was. I'm not sure how she would handle the gunshots. We still plan on going and trying the CGC with both kids. I might try the WAE with Bud, I can't decide. I really don't think he will "go at" the scary stranger. Everyone is his friend.

I am very bummed. I had requested this day off of work so I could bring the kids out and get Lilo's CGC. Plus, what a way to celebrate having my girl for a year since it was at last years WAE that we picked her up from Arda and Daisy. I was scheduled to work the closing shift from 12:30 - 9 that day. I am debating coming down with a dobie cough or something to that affect. I had such a great time last year and was looking forward to being there this year. Plus, how cool would it have been to have had Kenny and Magnum in last years picture for passing the CGC and Akina and Lilo this year! I am going to try to switch with someone first and if that doesn't work then I'll have to figure it out from there. The only good thing is - if I can't get Lilo's CGC done there the lady who did it last year said she would do her CGC test at the store for me - but I would much rather have her do it with all of her SCD family there!

I'm not going to be able to make it there this year. I'm taking a class that day.

We hope everyone who can come to WAE/CGC & spend day with
us.. We have a raffle planned & I hear we will have a few Items to
auction off for the SCD kids too, thanks to Lori Bump!!
Last year we had our sanction match with conformation/obedience &
rally & the CGC test.
This year is the working aptitude test, for those who havent seen one,
they are interesting. You can get some info at www.dpca.org
Our tester is flying in from north carolina that am, there are only about
about 12 testers around the country that are trained to be evaluators by
the DPCA.

Barring something coming up between now and then, Rick and I are planning on being there with Natasha and her new brother, Logan. (I know Dobiegirl51 already has a Logan, but I've always loved the name!) They can't actually take the test because they have to be 18 months old, and Natasha is about 16 months and Logan is still a puppy, but I know the exposure to the sights and sounds will be good for both of them. And besides, maybe I can spend some money on the raffle and auction to benefit SCD!

Currently part of my treasured family and helping to make life fun and busy:

Hunter, the chocolate Labradeagle (or Beaglador)

Terra, the tall, gorgeous red Doberwoman

Waiting at the Bridge and forever in my heart...... Igor, Max, Savanna, Logan, and Tasha

I had planned on coming, but an opportunity to work came about today so I won't be coming out to watch the dogs this year. Good luck to all!

Daisy, I just ordered some things for the auctions. They should come your house in the next week or so, priority mail... I am planning on coming but don't know for sure with packing/loading so wanted to be sure you got these... I'll get the packing slip from you if I get there...

You might want to do a different type of auction for these two items as they are larger items... limited edition, pencil drawings that are matted up to 11 x 14 by Kelli Swan... maybe bid sheets? starting at $20? not sure what you want to do...

Hi Joni,
The prints & cards came today, they are so nice..
I will get as much as we can for them, as I said, if
not at the WAE, we are doing a dobe speciality show
sept 26th, in monroe so will auction them then.
The money will go to SCD for Arda's kids...
