We would like to start an used ink cartdridge fund raiser.
Sorry I just haven't had the time this week to get into it.
If you are interested, here is the web site you can read up on it.
I will try to get boxes and materials ordered soon.

Sounds easy enough!

Cool, now I have someplace to send my cartridges again - we used to do something like that at my son's old grade school! Too bad we can't do box tops or soup labels!

No, I wont I'm the only one that buys, replaces used ones. My office managers has a box in her suv so when she goes to office max she can get 3.00 off other things. She has so many of them that her second box under her desk is over flowing. I can only send you the original ones and since most of what I buy are the already remanufactued it would be that many. Plus I have some at home from my own printers.

We are still planning on doing this, but the first company I contacted didn't answer me.
I will try to get something arranged in the near future.
Don't throw them away please.

I have been trying to find a good place to use for recycling our ink cartridges.

The eCycle Group seems to have good prices, so unless somebody has a better company I'm going to try them.
Hope everybody has some cartridges to turn in.
There is a list on the web site of which ones they take.
They also take some laser toner cartridges and used cell phones.

Hi Twodognite
Is this a program that is till being checked out. I've been doing some research for the clinic I work at. I do the ordering of printer, fax , and copier supplies. The office manager normally takes the empties to Office Max to get three dollars off of paper or something. They will not take all the lazer toners and drums back that we use. Which has not got me into trying to find someone to take them instead of throwing them out. Let me know if this is still something that SCD will be doing and if you need a different company to look into I could send you some of the sites I've gone to. There are ones that even take what they call the non virgin ones (already been refilled an used).

If you have some other companys, especially ones that will take non-virgin ones lets look at them.
I got the info from ecycle group finally, but haven't read thru it yet.
We need to compare what a company will take and the prices they pay.
Ecycle pays well, but we are to provide packaging materials, etc. Also they take only virgin cartridges.

http://www.recyclefree.com/ - only virgin

I looked into the non virgin ones and they don't take as many as I thought.

Hope any of this helps.
