We are sorry to hear you lost your baby girl. Our friend lost her
5 1/2yr old boy sat to cardio as well, he had been fighting it 15 mons.
Its never easy, no matter how old or why.. She is running free & playing
with all the others at the rainbow bridge... Know you have great memories w/ her.
Do send a note or call & let her breeder know. DCM is a awful thing.. It skips
generations, while some die at 5 their littermates may see 10.. They dont have
enough info to know how to stop it... Unfortunetly it seems to be in every bloodline
some where... Never know when it will strike..
Yes, do think about getting a new dog as soon as your up for it, it really does help,
they dont replace just ease the pain some...

Six months ago yesterday we were laying on the green grass in the warm sun. We went swimming. We took a boat ride. You were stalking the geese. We took a walk down a long dirt road and you were mesmerized by the deer. Then you went to sleep. Just like that you were gone. I know you are still playing in the sun and rolling in the green grass. I miss you my girl, my love.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It sounds like it wasn't just Page's last day that was wonderful, you have painted a picture of an extraordinary life that you and your boyfriend have shared with Page, thanks for sharing and please accept my condolences.

I hadn't yet joined this discussion forum at the time you lost Page, so this is a little belated, but I want to tell you how very sorry I am for your loss. She was a such a beautiful girl and I know all too well that you still miss her each and every day.

A year ago today the Lord called you home, and just like the perfect girl you are, you obeyed. I am trying hard not to see it as a year I've been without you. Instead I am trying to see it as a year closer to being with you again. Be a good girl until mama gets home. I love you so baby girl. This photo is from a year ago today, my last day with you HERE, but not our last time together girl, that is yet to come.

Never look back, always ahead. She was safe with you till her end on earth. Trust that she is in good hands with God. Don't look back. She was not abused nor neglected. If you hadn't been there she could have been like Buddy and Alley, unwanted. Now you have to care for them. When they are gone, they were not neglected. They were loved and cared for by you. And so it goes till we meet them again. And so it goes.......

I feel your pain all too well.......It just never seems to get any easier...she was so beautiful,keep her memories close to your heart, she watches you every day and knows how much she was loved......
