Grand Rapids Griffins (American Hockey League) offers a fundraising campaign that can earn SCD $3 for each ticket sold. The minimum required amount to tickets for the fundraiser is 100 tickets. (That's $300 minimum earned for SCD) Let me explain why this is a good deal. Each year, I get a group of friends and co-workers together for a Griffins Fun Night. This last group I planned brought in 36 people. ~~ JUST ME ~~ If YOU guys out there, help spread the word - we could EASILY get 100 tickets. I'm not sure if the tickets are only for a certain game, like a normal group outing - but I have the question in and should know soon. If this is the case - I'm shooting for a February 23rd Game.

These are great Christmas gifts!

I'm calling out those of you in the West Michigan/Greater Grand Rapids Area or anyone else around that loves hockey!! OR - if you know someone in this area and think they would be interested in purchasing tickets - have them contact me.

This is a great opportunity for SCD!

Let me know and I will let my brother and his friends at Ferris and Grand Valley know - they like anything that has to do with beer! LOL

Ok - here's the scoop. I have to reserve a minimum of 100 tickets. I could have some 'flex' tickets - which can be used for any game or schedule a group. OR Split it up. Right now, I have a block of 50 on reserve for February 23rd. If I can open it up to the fundraiser, I will need to pay up front. And no, SCD is not able to front the funding - I know that. The guy said that what some groups do, is split up blocks of tickets and go that route.

Griffins tickets are easy to sell. They are affiliated with Detriot Red Wings. February 23rd is Family Night and Hannah Montana's boyfriend is going to be there. It's just a great time all around. The guys on the team, are FUTURE RED WINGS. Sometimes, there's even a Wing playing. They go back and forth a lot.

Please let me know if anyone is willing to front a block of tickets. Remember - these make great Christmas gifts.
I'm asking volunteers and friends and family of the forums. I do not want anything up front from SCD - I just want to be able to hand them over a check for at least $300 when the tickets are all sold.

Please let me know. :sorcerer:

SCD gets $3 per ticket, so how much do the tickets cost?
