Kingston wasn't an SCD dog but Arda you would have loved this guy. He was stunning and proud and floated when he moved. He was staggeringly intelligent and had a dry sense of humour that made us chuckle every day.

Kingston was an owner surrender through the Doberman Pinscher Club of Canada who was supposed to be a foster. Within a week my Pug-loving-husband stated that he was going nowhere. So we acquired dog #3. He would hang out with my husband while he BBQed or stay up late to watch basketball. They were such good friends.
He was diagnosed with Wobblers in September and we did the gold head implants in November. He had a wheelchair which I think he put up with to humour me because it really wasn't his favourite.

We said goodbye April 19th.

I'm so sorry, Stef, for what you and your entire family, human and canine, are going through.  I know how much Kingston was loved by all of you in the time he was with you.  What a lucky guy he was to have been a "foster failure" and get to live the rest of his life with you guys.  He had it all, beauty, brains, and a great temperament.  He will always reside in your hearts.

I am so sorry for your loss.

So sorry Stef. Kingston sounded like a wonderful boy. He had amazing parents, I am sure he knew how much you loved him. They never live long enough.
