So happy to see these new FOREVER HOMES for these kids. WONDERFUL! All the hard work and loving care that goes into this rescue sure pays off when these kids get their FOREVER HOMES. BLESS YOU ARDA!

Hi Nancy...sorry I couldn't post them throughout the year...I didn't have a computer (just got one about a month ago) and my phone would not post pictures. Things at the rescue are slowing down and Arda is not taking in any more dogs, even though she still has about 18. Most of those are permanent residents, due to some are bitters, some are old and some are scared of people. Hope all is well for you.

That's okay Jackie. Anytime is good, it's always so good when these kids get FOREVER HOMES.

Slowing down I understand that. 18 is still alot of kids, they most likely are in their FOREVER HOME. I check this site alot.

I think of Arda ALOT and the wonderful "PRINCE" she had (still does). Please tell her hello. I think of you too Jackie, you are so GOOD.

BLESS ALL OF YOU

I just checked the board for the first time in a long time today and was happy to see all those updates you made for us, Jackie!  I'm happy to know that so many dogs have found their forever homes over the past year.  I know SCD is on Facebook now, and that's where all the activity is, but I don't do FB, so I really miss keeping up on the news.  Please wish Arda well for me.  I miss her posts on the board, and of course all the other regulars that used to be around here.

HI Cheri,

I just got a computer a little over a month ago. I tried to post pictures and stuff with my phone but the pictures would not load (not enough memory) or my key board on my phone would quit working and I would have to reboot my phone. So posting stuff was next to impossible for me. Things are slowing down at SCD even though we still have about 17 dogs. Most are permanent residents. Bitters, Medical Needs and Seniors, its like a nursing home for dobermans LOL.

I can just imagine, Jackie.  It does kind of sound that way, like a nursing home for Dobermans!  Those are some lucky dogs, though, to have landed where they are, considering how things may have turned out for them otherwise. :)
