We're exhausted - but we did it! I was hoping for one leg of our title this weekend and our last trial of the weekend was the winner!

Tux: "I had a rough day yesterday what with the judge's jacket that obviously needed to be checked for treats, and then not paying attention when mom said "Heel!". This morning I was VERY tired and couldn't stay sitting for the long sit ... it's a very long sit you know ... so I just had to lay down. Mom didn't look happy - but she said I did everything else well. (Even though I was jumping up trying to kiss her the whole time off leash.) This afternoon I was perfect. I actually remembered where "Front" was and I finished all the way around instead of just halfway. My heeling was pretty good considering I'm still not sure what we're doing with this strange person in the room. I remembered to stay sitting, but there were so many good smells on the ground that I sniffed and crawled a little on my down. I ate some fur and fluffy stuff off the floor - but my elbows stayed down - so mom was happy!"

We actually placed 2nd in our class which was just icing on the cake! I was SO pleased and so happy with him!!

Yippeeeee!!

I saw her in group but I wasn't sure who she was with! Way to go Heather!!! Whooohoooo!!

My score was 188...We weren't HIT or anything - but it was a good run for our first pass! We had a lot of points taken off both the heel and heel free. (No extra commands - but he was really wide on the heel free and he was lagging and forging on the figure 8's.)

Thanks!! I'm so excited - we'll have to start our CD in the US too...

Congratulations! Marten knows how hard this stuff is. He'd much rather be running around chasing and playing with the other dogs in class. Even though he knows what Mom wants him to do, he has a very hard time concentrating!
