Well it was a very sad day for our family - We had to make the choice we didn't want to make, but we loved our Gretta with all our hearts  and we knew we couldn't be selfish. It was time to set her free to run and play again!!

 

RIP Gretta ... WE LOVE YOU LOTS

I'm so very sorry to hear that Gretta has gone to the Bridge.  You gave her a wonderful life -- fourteen years old, wow!  She was a real beauty.  I know it was a very difficult decision for you, but you did the right thing to release her from her pain.  It's the final act of kindness that we can do for a dog we love so much.  May time help to heal your hearts.
