Hillary & Rob came out to meet Toby this weekend. The email asking if we could take Toby showed a picture of how he was living. He was chained to a cement block in a patch of dirt. A kind individual stepped in on his behalf and removed him from that situation and brought him to us. Toby is a super young boy, not quite two years old. He is a handsome little guy, very sweet and full of energy. Hillary was looking for a dog to run and do agility with. Toby is definitely got the energy and brains for that. They are going to start out with an obedience class and I really believe with some training this boy is going to be a great dog. He wants so badly to please and to get attention.

 

We're so happy for Toby to have a home of his own. Thank you Hillary & Rob for choosing rescue. We can't wait to see updates as Toby grows and learns. Congratulations on your new family member!

Congrats. We looked at Toby when we were there. He was one of our prospects but sweet as he was, our Husky girl picked another boy(Keno) and we're in love. So glad this sweet boy found a forever home. Best wishes.

Toby is a great dog that really deserved a second chance and got it.  Congrats and we all look forward to pictures!!!

Toby has a lot of energy and he is fast.  We are looking at a lot of work but the end results will be worth it.

Congratulations, Hillary and Rob, on your adoption of Toby!  That boy really deserves a comfortable and loving home with a family who will give him the opportunity to expend some of his pent-up energy, and give him some mental exercise, too, in learning a new sport.  Good luck to you with agility.  Sounds like everyone is going to have fun!

I told her he did.  If she can control his energy he will be a top contender.  And he is young.  Able to learn and able to move.

Congrats to both of you ! 

I hung out with Toby and the team on Saturdays, I scoop and they get their "ya yas'' out running around, but Toby

was always quick to come and get a pat and some sweet talk from me.  Energy yes, but I think he also wants to please

which is great for obed/agility.  I'm very excited about your plans for him.
