Bonnie crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. She has had trouble walking for the past couple of months. The doctor had her on different kinds of pills. She was doing good yesterday morning, running a little and was walking good in the backyard. I went shopping and when I came back she was in her crate and was crying. She couldn't move, I got my neighbor and we got her out into my car. At the hospital they got her out on a stretcher and got her into the room ,She cried all the time she was in so much pain. She is out of pain now but I miss her so much.

Oh, Ella, I am so very sorry! Bonnie Blue was one of the mainstays here on the board, one of the dogs I felt like I knew personally through your posts. I'm so sad to hear that she has gone to the Bridge. It is heartbreaking when they get old and sick and we have to say good-bye, but you made the only choice you could, that final kindness to end her pain. Run free, Bonnie Blue. I know you will be missed.
Currently part of my treasured family and helping to make life fun and busy:

Terra, the tall, gorgeous red Doberwoman
Waiting at the Bridge and forever in my heart...... Igor, Max, Savanna, Logan, and Tasha

Ella, I'm so sorry to read this. I remember when you adopted Bonnie--like Cheri said, I felt like I knew her through your posts. You're in my thoughts.

Thank you everyone. I still can't believe it. It's just to soon for her to go, but she knew it was time.
