Vegas started off picky, too, but now he eats a partially raw diet. I mix raw (it is raw meat mixed with veggies, pumpkin,etc-- it's considered a complete diet) with some grain free kibble (to make it easier on my wallet) and he's never been so excited for meal times. I also give him yogurt occasionally and the random piece of fruit or spoon of natural peanut butter as a treat. He seems to be thriving on his new diet. Congrats on your new fur-kid:)

long over due update! Kolu is still the queen of the house, quickly closing in on 10 years old!   She has been a great addition to our family and we would be lost without her. our daughter has a pit puppy that Kolu loves to play with. She is very nice to the puppy, she will growl at her but wont bite the puppy. and it gets Kolu up and playing, its been good for her. all in all Kolu is doing great!

What a nice update on Kolu!  It's so nice to hear she is enjoying her life with her loving family.  And now there's a new puppy in the family to play with.  Sounds like fun for everybody!  :)

This will be the last update on Kolu... She was a wonderful girl for the 5 years we had her. She ended up with cancer that spread very quick, and we had to say good bye in late November. Thank you to the people at SCD for connecting us with Kolu! She was very special and she is missed everyday.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Kolu.  You had five wonderful years with her, but I know it's never enough.  Thank you for giving her such a loving family.  My heart goes out to you. :Rose:
