I am very sorry :Broken Heart: to report that Beau crossed the Bridge this afternoon.  His arthritis was advancing and a couple of weeks ago he suffered, what we believe to be a Fibrocartilagenous Embolism (which is basically a stroke in the spine), and was partially paralyzed especially on the right side.  He did get better after a few days but then on Thursday started having increased mobility problems again so I made the decision to help him cross the Bridge.

 

He went VERY quickly and VERY easily so I know it was his time.

So sorry for your loss of Beau always a sad day, he will be missed by many and leaves wonderful memories. Hugs -:(

Oh Joni, I'm so very, very sorry.  He had a great life with you and I know he thought he was just another cat in your litter.  So very sorry but thanks for being there when he really needed you.

Joni, my heart goes out to you. I know how much it hurts-I still cry over Rudy sometimes. Take comfort knowing you gave him a wonderful life & cared enough to let him go. Hugs to you.  :Rose:

it was strange this morning... I kept thinking i left him outside!!!  but I know with all his mobility problems he is in a much better place.  He gave me "the look" so I know he was ready to cross the Bridge and I take solace in that as well...

Well I picked Beau's remains up yesterday so he is back with me, at least for a while...  I will bring him to you, Arda, the next time we are in Michigan!!!  Heavy box!!! He was a "fat" dog in life and beyond!!! LOL
