We said goodbye to Jamie yesterday (Lymphoma). I truly hope there is a place where she is running and flying - wild and free - with no pain or fear.

Why can't we take the best of each of these dogs Jamie's speed, Chaos' temperament, Jennie's longevity, Kimmie's faithfulness, Frodo's beauty, etc. and produce the perfect dogs for all of us? You know like mixing up the perfect cookie dough. And the best cookies in the world. How much more can a person loose and still be the person they were?
