Our sweet Sampson went home with Pam a couple weekends ago to see if he could live with her cats. Well, lets say the cats and he aren't best buddies, but they are making it work. Sampson has come so far from the bald, stinky, starving mess that he was. He is going to turn out to be gorgeous when all that hair comes back. We are SO happy for this boy, and we know he has landed in a great home with Pam.

Thank you for honoring the love you shared with Rudy by adopting another needy boy. I bet he is bragging at the bridge about how big his Mom's heart is. :icon12:  Congratulations Pam & Sampson! We hope you have years of joy together and we can't wait to see some pictures as he settles in and grows that coat back. :)

Oh! Congratulations! He sure is a handsome boy. And thank you Arda for wading thru the stinky bald mess to uncover this boy for Pam!

Wow!  That's the first time I have seen the before and after of him.  Yes he came out real good.  And happy.  You have never seen a happier boy.  It was like taking the leaves off the ear of corn.  Every phase of healing gave me a new boy.  The last was that tail going a million miles a hour and getting into that car with Pam.  Pam has the hard part.  He is just a youngster and she has to make the kind of a dog she can live with out of him.  I'm very proud of the way he is turning out.  We saved this one.

He really does look great Arda! Congrats! Pam I do envy you. I fell in love with the first picture. There was just something so regal in his face. I am so happy today!  Linda

Such wonderful news!  Thank you Pam for giving sweet Samson his second chance.  And thanks to all who helped with his rehabilitation and recovery.  I know he's still got a ways to go, but he's in great hands now!

I really hit the jackpot with this one! He is so full of energy, his tail never stops, & he's always ready to walk or play-it looks like a toddler lives here with all the toys scattered around-but also enjoys being quiet & cuddling. I'd love to know his history. Yes, he was horrifically neglected but someone took the time to teach him to sit & shake, what "bed" means & how to come to me & give just one bark when he needs to go out. He seems very bright-the cats have been hiding out upstairs & I only had to tell him "no" twice when he ran up. He hasn't tried it again. I'm planning on taking him to classes once he settles in-think it will be fun for both of us. I've tried to get pictures but he's like Rudy-when I get my phone he takes off. I've got lots of butt pics!  :Tounge: Thanks again, Arda, for saving him & for trusting me with my little Sammy-Bean!

I just can't believe it's the same dog and I had him here and watched it all transpire.  He was so darn happy when he graduated to the yard.  And when he left with Pam.  An amazing dog.

Okay, so he's not supposed to be on the couch but, c'mon, could I really be so mean as to kick him off?

darn, he looks good.  All that hair and his body filled out.  It brings the happy tears.  He will make it and I don't have to worry about this boy anymore.  Thank you Pam for the rest of his life.

What doesn't show in the picture is the 2 stuffies he had hidden behind him. Rudy had a basket full & Sammy found them right away. Now he's never without one. He's such a silly little Bean
